Polbridge Health Ltd. cannot currently test you for this infection.

Polbridge Health Ltd. is taking steps to reduce the risk of infection to our patients who attend the clinic whilst providing a safe service for all our patients. There may be some changes to medicals or case management and this will be reviewed on a case by case basis. We have also changed how we use our waiting areas to minimise risk of exposure and a questionnaire will need to be completed prior to attending the clinic. What is coronavirus?

A coronavirus is a type of virus. As a group, coronaviruses are common across the world. Typical symptoms of coronavirus include fever and a cough that may progress to a severe pneumonia causing shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.

Generally, coronavirus can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people, and those with long-term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease.

Novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China.

If you develop a fever, cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing, you should not leave your home until you been given advice by a clinician. Please call 111 or Polbridge Health Ltd. on 01582 395511 for more advice. DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OR SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD DOES.
